All I can say is Andrea and Alfonso can really tear up the dance floor! They never seemed to stop dancing…it was such a fun night and we had a great time hanging out with them :)

I had some of the most gorgeous light during this wedding :) Gladys and Fransisco are always fun to hang out with and were up for anything I asked…they also got married in one of my favorite churches, Our Lady of Fatima in Granjeno. And then a reception at the Social Club with a gorgeous vintage theme…loved it!!!

Okay, this wedding was stellar! Some of my favorite moments:

Sneaking Jacob through the hallway without letting him see Stephanie…
Seeing Stephanie’s music students sing at the wedding…
Loved watching Stephanie and Jacob worship without abandon…
Seeing Jacob and Stephanie’s friends and family pray for their marriage…
Taking pictures on the UTB/TSC Arts Center Stage (such AWESOME lighting)…
Laughing at the bridal party as they tried to re-enact West Side Story…
Watching Stephanie and Jacob play the Newlywed Game…
Watching Stephanie and Jacob see who was better at tearing up the dance floor…
Seeing the wall decorated with the married guests’ wedding photos…
Watching Stephanie’s little brother kill it on the dance floor…
and finally…
Watching all of the married couples take the dance floor, and then slowly leave based on the number of years they had been married…with the couple being married the longest as the last one on the floor. This is one of my favorite traditions at weddings and hope that my daughters’ will implement it when they get married :)

What a wonderful night! I came home and told my girls this was a wedding that made me think of them…it was casual, fun, energetic, yet different, modern and whimsical. LOVED it!!!

Stephanie & Jacob E-Session…{McAllen Texas Photographer}

Loved hanging out with this fun couple! Stephanie’s family is Armenian and Jacob has been to Turkey, so they wanted to incorporate that into their session. Stephanie brought a beautiful Backgammon game set that has been in her family for generations…we met up at Lola’s Bakery in Brownsville where they played a round of Backgammon and then we headed over the the beach jetty’s. We walked the entire way out and then had to stop about 100 yards from the edge, but boy, did we have fun :)

Seniors are so fun to hang out with. Maybe its just me still thinking I am cool enough to hang out with them…I don’t know. But Austin was no exception…it was great hiking all over kingdom-come with him and his mom and sister, shooting the breeze about college, graduation and all that fun stuff…

this is officially my new favorite wedding dress :) lazaro is so freakin’ awesome!!!

we had fun with vanessa’s bridal session…we drove to san isidro where she grew up and took pictures at some old silos, the church where her grandparents were married, and the old well that her great grandfather dug…love it when we incorporate family history into a shoot!
