However, that doesn’t dampen my love for them :) They are the funniest couple to take pictures of…they bicker and laugh, tease and make funny faces!

I was surprised (but happily so) when Jessica told me that she wanted to bring their kitties with them to the shoot. We’ve done lots of shoots with dogs, but never with cats…however, I had strict instructions from Edelir not to post any pictures of him interacting with the cats because it was ‘too girly’…too funny!!!

Seriously…who would lay down in itchy grass with bugs during humid 102 degree weather in a dress and suit? They did! And who would get up on a horse in her wedding dress when they are afraid of horses? Lucy did! And who climbed up rusty stairs, over a wall and on to a roof? They did! They planned for 3 hours of pictures and video which was awesome…we had lots of fun!

Lucy and Tomas…you guys rock! Hope you like :)

I cannot imagine being this pregnant in July! We shot at one of my favorite locations, a tea house that Betty was generous enough to let us use. And Bryon really wanted Sochi in the water, so she sucked it up and got in the yucky, murky brown water…but I think it made for some really pretty pictures!

We just got word today that baby Alexia makes her debut on Monday…cannot wait :)

Lilly approached me a few months ago wanting pictures for her 30th birthday. The first thing she said was ‘I am a plus-sized girl with lots of curves, so for my 30th birthday I want a photo shoot that will make me feel sexy and help me embrace my curvaseous side!’ From the beginning, I was flattered that she put her trust in me. We had lots of up and down moments before the shoot! But Lilly put her 200% in working hard to bring out her inner beauty. She found stellar outfits and worked with a great makeup artist; I think the shots came out awesomel. One thing I learned from Lilly is that we need to accept who we are and not be so hard on ourselves. I think all women are beautiful in their own way and feel proud that I have the opportunity to capture that.

We need to thank NIU in McAllen for letting us used their place. They have the best furniture! Go and check them out at 920 N. Main St.
And Mando Rivera for a wonderful job done with the hair and make up. He is one of the best in the valley; Mando you rock!!! 956.878.2384
