At the end of Chelsea and Karen’s session, I had Chels put on a vintage gown I bought last month and model for me a bit. I told her to look sad and lost…I wanted a somber, somewhat wistful feeling to the images. I love how fuzzy and grainy they are. It was nearly dark and I pushed my camera to the limits…6400 ISO, 30 speed and f/1.8.

Goodness, these girls are gorgeous!!! I just love them so much it almost hurts…I can’t believe how much Chelsea has grown! Another year and she’ll be off to college. Our family loves Chelsea…my daughters think she hung the moon and just adore her. I love going to her volleyball games and watching her kill it :) I love the young woman that she is becoming and am so excited for her future. Since Chelsea turned 18 her mom and sister decided to surprise her with a photo session…and seriously, how can you get any more beautiful than these two?

Seniors are so fun to hang out with. Maybe its just me still thinking I am cool enough to hang out with them…I don’t know. But Austin was no exception…it was great hiking all over kingdom-come with him and his mom and sister, shooting the breeze about college, graduation and all that fun stuff…

I know that Gerardo had an awesome time with Grecia taking her senior pictures…she wanted some with horses on a ranch and a friend happily obliged :) I love the ones in the tire shop…her dad owns it to I think its nice to have a bit of sentimentality in there…

we finished up casey’s senior shoot the other day and were happy that kerry and baylor decided to tag along. watching these three guys together was too fun…its hard to believe they are graduating. since casey is on the sharyland baseball team, we knew we wanted to incorporate that in to his shoot. the weather cooperated perfectly for us giving nice dramatic lighting…yeah! i also had to sneak in a picture of casey with my little ella :)

so…its back to school in less than a week and that means….senior sessions!!! casey klein and alexandra pena were so much fun to shoot the other day…of course we went to our current fave location (sorry it been a repeat so much lately, but we just keep finding such fun stuff :) both casey and alex will be graduating this year and although the shoot was hot and sticky, and i got glass all over my behind, we laughed and had fun hangin out. casey, you know you are our ‘guy’ and we think you are adorable…but alex, oh my! those eyes are just killer! i could hardly stand editing you are so beautiful :) thanks again to both of you!

yulz attended our evolve seminar and was interested in having a shoot done with her and a friend…gerardo was totally up for that!!! he also had fun playing around with some video.

we think they both did a stellar job and made it easy to get great pictures :) the location is one that we have shot at many times this summer…it seems to have an endless supply of awesome little nooks and cranies to shoot in. every time we shoot there, find something new! i love this cotton like stuff that is flowering all over the place…seems like you can never get a bad picture with all of that softness enveloping you…happy looking :)

angie and angela are a mother daughter duo that are celebrating a birthday and college graduation at the same time! they wanted to do a photo shoot together to commemorate both events :) we can’t wait for the big party in august!
