Lilly approached me a few months ago wanting pictures for her 30th birthday. The first thing she said was ‘I am a plus-sized girl with lots of curves, so for my 30th birthday I want a photo shoot that will make me feel sexy and help me embrace my curvaseous side!’ From the beginning, I was flattered that she put her trust in me. We had lots of up and down moments before the shoot! But Lilly put her 200% in working hard to bring out her inner beauty. She found stellar outfits and worked with a great makeup artist; I think the shots came out awesomel. One thing I learned from Lilly is that we need to accept who we are and not be so hard on ourselves. I think all women are beautiful in their own way and feel proud that I have the opportunity to capture that.
