we love valerie!!! as the owner of bridal trends weddings, she is one of the best wedding planners in the biz and we have so enjoyed working with her…we met a couple of years ago through a mutual friend…belin jenkins, who also did valerie’s awesome makeup… (more about that on a later post!) valerie is not only very meticulous in every detail and aspect of each wedding she plans, she is also fun, easy to talk to and genuinely excited for every bride that she works with. she is passionately dedicated to making each day special, unique and memorable.
we also love her because she makes our job much easier to do. with valerie around, we know that we aren’t going to get behind schedule, that everyone is where they need to be when they need to be there, and that everything will be quickly and efficiently taken care of. that is something you cannot put a price tag on…as my own mother was in the kitchen during my reception, i have vowed to have valerie at each of my daughter’s weddings so that i can enjoy the day that my daughters and i have spent so much time, energy and money on…we wholeheartedly recommend her services with the utmost confidence and hope that any interested brides will take the time to meet with her.
so…a couple of weeks ago, valerie asked me to shoot some headshots for her…we had iffy light, lots of clouds and hardly any time but we worked fast!!! we drove out to san isidro, a place i have never been before and have fallen in love with! the grain silos, the sunflowers (which i had to be careful not to touch!), the old hand dug well, the original church, the old houses and barns…so country and i loved it! thanks valerie for trusting me! you are a wonderful person and i am happy to call you my friend…hope you like :)
