we were lucky enough to spend our 12th anniversary with amy and isak on their wedding day. hanging out with them brought back lots of memories of our wedding day. i can honestly say that i was never happier than the day i got married! butterflies in my tummy, the tingling in my toes…i was so deliriously happy to finally getting married to the man i loved beyond comprehension. gerardo and i were engaged 8 weeks after we started dating and married 7 weeks later. he barely spoke engligh and i didn’t know a lick of spanish. neither of us had graduated college. it seemed as though the odds were stacked against us…however, through lots of learning and patience, these past 12 years have convinced me that i will never find anyone as wonderful as gerardo. he is my perfect match. he balances me, reminds me that our family is most important, showers me with affection, cooks for me and is an absolutely wonderful father to our four daughers!!! i love you babe :)
