bella’s wedding dress

yes, i am a twilight freak. i am a 30 something year old that becomes twitterpated just reading a young adult fiction novel…there is something a bit depressing about that. i just finished the series last night (for, like, the six time), and so i have bella and edward on the mind. so today, when i became seriously frustrated with my computer, i took a break from editing and decided to look for a 1918 style wedding dress. for those who do not have a twilight obsession, when bella and edward get married, her dress is a tribute to edward’s time frame of being human. pathetically, I even went so far as to look up again in the book any details about the dress…white satin and lace :)

so…for those who don’t know, i have a mild (okay, maybe not so mild) obsession with wedding dresses. i knew that claire pettibone had some vintage style dresses as well as jenny packham, so they were my first designer searches. i also came across a new favorite site of mine, the frock, which has some of the most delicious gowns!!! however, the one below is an alice temperley design that popped out at me…it was exactly what i pictured for bella’s wedding gown. it has the satin and lace, a totally vintage and romantic feel, yet modern and sensual. i fell completely in love…sigh!!!
