looking for an office manager!!!

we are looking for an office manager! gerardo and i love photography, but have found that in the past few months, running the studio is becoming almost impossible for us. returning phone calls and emails on time has become an overwhelming task, and trying to keep our schedules and paperwork organized is turning into a nightmare :) with four young daughters and increasing family life demands, we have decided we need to hire someone to help relieve us from the office responsibility. we hope that in return, this will facilitate us to have faster turn around times for editing and post production.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic self starter who is capable of running the day to day operation of our photo studio. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, making sales calls, scheduling appointments, answering emails, and general office managerial duties. A real people person and love for the art of photography a must.

• Strong customer service skills and politeness is our number one priority

• Proficient English is a must and Spanish speaking is a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with beginning level skills in Excel

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate composure under pressure

• Familiarity with internet navigation

• Current office hours are 10 am to 3 pm four days a week, but they can change throughout the year, so flexibility is required

• $8.00/hour starting wage
