February 8, 2010 - 8:42 pm - michelle looks HOTT! i totally love all of the pics. i thought the one of the kids smiling and looking over at their parents kissing was so cute. great session!
working on editing the wolfley family…just had to post this one :)

February 7, 2010 - 9:43 pm - ahh, look at those eyes...
in keeping with my previous post about how precious our children are, i have decided to start posting a little more of our personal life on the blog.
when our girls turn 10 years old, they get to go on a trip by themselves with mom. in a family with four girls, its not very often you get one-on-one time with your parents :)
this past fall, jocelyne chose to go to her grandparents house in utah. we had a glorious ten days to explore all of my old stomping grounds. sometimes i can’t believe i actually spent my teenage years in a place so beautiful…
this is the view from my parents back porch…

while hiking the trail behind my parents house i fell in love with some beautiful aspens…i miss seeing aspen trees…

jocelyne found a little hideout on our walk…

while hiking, she gathered rocks and wood…when we got back to my parents, she started painting and these were the final results…

we also visited the most adorable antique shop…we had oodles of fun pouring over all of the treasures…

of course, we had to make a trip to salt lake city…we met up with our sweet friend dayla :)

jocelyne grabbed the camera and took this shot of the salt lake temple…it is getting printed and framed to hang up in her room…

we also went to the genealogical library where we were able to see original documents and photographs of one of my ancestors, milo andrus. he was instrumental in settling the salt lake valley back in the 1800’s.

we then traveled a few miles up the mountain to one of the original houses owned by milo andrus…

jocelyne hiking one of the campgrounds we use to spend the night at…

tibble fork lake in the american fork canyon…i used to drive up this canyon nearly every day after school…

goodness…you’d think the crying would stop! yesterday, while reading one of my favorite blogs, rebekah westover, i felt an overwhelming desire to document my family more. this came at the same time i was crying over little ella’s blog…
our photographs are one of the most priceless posessions we own…I heartily echo rebekah’s words…
“It’s all brought me to the conclusion that your personal photographs are treasures….snippets of your life….collections of special moments…..pictures of people you love…..recollections of people who have passed on….they are PRICELESS!!”
please take a moment to click here and read her blog post on personal pictures…
my goal for 2010…print and hang more pictures of my own family, organize all of our family photos and create memory books of each year…i’ll keep you all updated :)

my 31st birthday while living in the hotel due to our house fire…oh the joys of 2009 :)
one of my dearest friends from high school recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, ella, who was diagnosed with cornelia de lange syndrome…this came after her third child, a sweet baby boy named carson, passed away of sids in september 2008.
i have been following ella’s blog which is written by her dad to keep everyone informed of her progress. i find myself checking each day to see what progress she has made…
as i have read his entries, i have found my thought process change. my own children, of course, have always been dear to me, but recently i find myself cuddling them more, talking with them more, listening more, reading more stories to them…looking at them i see that i have a very limited window of time.
i heard a saying once that now hits me to the very core of my being…
tomorrow is promised to no one…
could there be anything in this life more precious?

February 6, 2010 - 12:08 pm - beautiful, beautiful, beautiful and beautiful. love them all.
